My Perspective on Creative Therapy & Inner Authority Development

I believe that each person is a wealth of unconscious information that offers everything from how they can live a more meaningful human life to how to navigate the unseen laws of creation.

I believe in the unconscious collective field that we share as human beings and that each person also has a unique way of expressing that field and a unique evolutionary arc.

Creative therapy and inner authority development honors these unique routes and unique expressions.

Through creative therapy, I help others access their own unconscious field so that an individual can find answers for themselves. I do this through coherence and altered brain wave states that are induced through sound, breath, rhythm, visualization, and intuitive precision.

Inner authority development is the understanding and practices that will help an individual to learn how to recognize, access, and integrate more of their own unconscious field on their own. Inner authority development ensures a foundation for expanding consciousness that is empowered, unique, and embraces interdependent co-creation instead of codependent co-creation.

We all need teachers, healers, community, and counsel – especially at critical junctures or initiations in our evolution. We are not designed to do everything on our own. However, the historical dominant energy exchange has been codependent co-creation. This is what has led to what some call patriarchy, abusive leadership, manipulative and deceptive behavior, and healing based on dependency. For me, all of this is the repercussion of the dominant outer authority creation paradigm that is ignorant to the unconscious field.

Inner authority is based on interdependence and actively integrating the unconscious daily. Interdependent co-creation means each being recognizes itself as both a whole piece and a piece of the whole. Interdependence is based on authenticity (truth), beauty (sacred direction), and choice (conscious evolution). We seek help or guidance recognizing the other as a part of the self we are integrating. We operate from unity as complimentary differentiation, not separation.

Inner authority development is a complex, integrated web of skills that expresses a little differently for each of us at different stages of awareness. Here is a brief summary of each of the areas I address in inner authority development.

The Inner Authority Web of Development

Coherence is the mind and body’s ability to understand and be at peace with the heart’s guidance. It is earned through gentle processing, not forced.

Resiliency is the mind and body’s ability to tolerate contrast, challenge, and initiations. It is necessary during growth cycles and is built through daily maintenance and “stretching.”

Imagination is the mind and body’s ability to access and perceive the unconscious field. It is guided by the inner child and our relationship with time.

Intuition is the mind and body’s ability to receive direction from the unconscious field. Intuition is a higher intelligence navigation tool that operates at many different levels of awareness through resonance, rhythm, and heart connection.

Purification is the mind and body’s ability to recognize and release fear from the unconscious field.

Discernment is the mind and body’s ability to interpret the complexities of the unconscious field and align to sacred intuitive direction that cultivates surrender to “better” choice – or one’s own conscious evolution.

Expression is the mind and body’s ability to tune its expression to the heart’s guidance and authentic creative essence through breath, word, movement, sound. The mind and body is not only tuned but actively playing its note.

Co-Creation is the mind and body’s ability to understand and master graceful interdependent co-creation with others, the planet, and the cosmos. This involves understanding contracts, law, dance, and unity in conscious action.

Each of the areas works upon the other. One is not more important than the other.

If you notice in the patterning, everything is about aligning the mind and body back to the heart. The heart often needs to be (can be) opened more, but it knows the soul truth. The heart doesn’t need correction or work. It needs a strong mind and body that can hear, trust, and act according to its soul calling. With a strong mind and body, the heart can leverage a much higher  intelligence that integrates the unconscious field in a healthy way.

The skills that I emphasize the most in my work are:

  • Somatic Awareness
  • Heart Intelligence Practices
  • Shadow Work & Mind Awareness
  • Conscious Alchemy Framing
  • Creative Meditation
  • Small Action Commitment

This work is spiritual, psychological, and physical. However, while the skills matter, the core of this work and perspective is that I help you to understand the conditions that allow you to unfold, awaken, and trust the truth within you. We operate in a distorted mind program which has conditioned our mind/body out of a relationship with the heart center. When we reset the conditions, we slowly begin to dissolve the distortion program that has created a fog/static around the heart center relationship.

I incorporate training and experience from many careers and consciousness studies in this work, but my teachings come from what I have lived through on my own awakening and found to be true through the test of life. My work is practical and focused on awakened leadership – meaning awareness put into physical action. I don’t teach anything you can’t practice through each breath, each word, each choice.

This type of work is powerful for anyone, but it is most productive for those who are sincerely dedicated to spiritual awakening, feel a call towards “purpose,” and are committed to co-creating more harmonic collective human potentials.

Navigating the Mirror World & The Black River

Navigating the world without inner authority is seeing the world in one direction, through the mirror. You try to fix the reflection instead of what is being reflected. My recent trip to the Amazon gave me a beautiful reminder of how we fuse the inner and outer worlds as creator beings.
